He had a brother Bennet WHITE, who came out later and also settled in the BOP with a maori wife. JCH
possibly the same George WHITE who spent a year in Whangapoua (Coromandel) in 1840 with partner McCORMACK cutting timber and trading. (from Coromandel Local Newspaper abt 5 may 2021 in article on Henry RING.)
